Mohsen Nouri, the Prominent Iranian Mountain Climber
He was born in 1950. He climbed all the high walls and mountains of Iran many times both at winter and summer time.
He was coach and member of the Iranian National Team that climbed Mt. Gasherbrum in 1997.
Mohsen had a great role in enhancing mountain climbing at Iran and published many pamphlets on rock climbing, solo climbing and principles of mountain climbing.
In 2005, he got brain cancer. Due to his serious health problem he tried to open a new route on Mt. Muztagata.
After two years i.e. in 2007 his cancer reoccurred and in 2012, when Dr. Hamed was continuing his study at Malaysia, he passed away.
Mohsen Nouri had a devoted soul to mountains and mountaineering.
He was a noble man, a great coach, a perfect father, a husband full of sympathy and a real human being.
He is the best example for the new generation of mountain climbers in Iran.
He was a man who knew his manners and attitude.
