Good news, the tourist area which is located in Bandungan District, Semarang, Central Java is currently reopening.
You can now enjoy a camping atmosphere in the Mawar Camp Area in Umbul Sidomukti.
After enjoying the cool and cold night air, in the morning you will be presented with a beautiful view of the sun rising from the east.
The manager of Mawar Camp Area, Arun Muhtarom said, even though the place is already open, there are special conditions if you want to camp or climb Mount Ungaran.
“The requirements must be in accordance with standard health protocols such as mandatory hand washing before entering, mandatory use of masks, mandatory distance maintenance, mandatory hygiene,” he explained to Suara.com, Saturday (10/17/2020).
In addition, visitors are required to respect each other’s privacy, must register with their identity and are prohibited from carrying alcoholic drinks and narcotics.
“All visitors are required to respect each other and adhere to health protocols,” he said. Managers also limit the size and number of tents to be erected.
Although the camping area is quite large, they limit 50-60 tents per day.
He added, registration for climbing on Mount Ungaran opens from 09.00 WIB and will be closed at 20.00 WIB.
“Registration is not much different, Rp.10 thousand per person, Rp.5 thousand motorbike parking and Rp.10 thousand car parking. Meanwhile, for camping, the maximum check-out is at 11.00 WIB,” he added.
For climbing Mount Ungaran, he continued, the time is almost the same as camping but the check-out time is longer.
“To check out the climb at 14.00 WIB the climber must have returned to the base camp,” he said.
A visitor from Jepara, Nanik Candra Dewi, said that he was quite satisfied to be back on vacation in the Mawar Camp Arena area.
He admitted that he was happy because he could see the sun rising from the mountains. In addition, the restrictions on visitors make it more comfortable because it is not too crowded.
It made him feel safe on vacation in the midst of the pandemic.
“I came here with my friend from Jepara. I was on vacation here. Want to see the dew and the sun rising from the mountains,” he said.
